Spider Rock Classic Cloak

$1,595 Black/White
Made to order in NYC. Please allow 2-5 days to ship.

This pattern honors Spider Rock, the sandstone spire rising some 800 feet from the floor of Canyon de Chelly in northeastern Arizona. In Diné (Navajo) tradition it is the home of Spider Woman — Na’ashjéii Asdzáá — who wove the universe and came down into the canyon to teach the people the art of weaving.

Its sharply etched motifs echo the canyon walls and the weaving passed down through generations of Diné, many of whom work a Spider Woman cross into their textiles to honor her.

Bell-shaped hooded cloak with welt patch pockets and 3 toggle closure.

Unnapped Pendleton blankets: 82% Wool, 18% Cotton. Wool Cashmere facings and Silk Rayon peachskin lining.

We strive to be low impact and most pieces are made to order; please allow 2 to 5 days to ship.
