This pattern looks to Crown Point, the towering basalt headland rising above Oregon’s Columbia River Gorge. When the Lewis and Clark Expedition passed below in 1805, William Clark recorded a camp “under a high projecting rock on the larboard side” — the river’s rugged left bank.

Bands of pattern evoke the rope lines hauled during the expedition’s constant portages, while the central motifs rise like the basalt columns that wall the river’s edge.

Fully lined bell-shaped cloak with welt patch pockets and a 2 toggle closure. Also features mongolian fur lined hood and cuffs.

Napped Pendleton blankets: 82% Wool, 18% Cotton. Wool Cashmere facings and Silk Rayon peachskin lining. Our Mongolian Fur is a shaggy long hair Mongolian sheep shearling.
