Gatekeeper Lulu Aviator
The Gatekeeper is an archival Pendleton design, originally introduced in 1935; rooted in Pendleton’s storied heritage, the pattern centers around an eight-pointed star — a symbol often found in Lakota tradition, representing the Morning Star, the “gatekeeper of the day,” guiding the way toward light and knowledge. This design is a classic example of a Centerpoint pattern, defined by its balanced symmetry and a central motif aligned within a bold horizontal band — a hallmark of Pendleton’s early masterworks.
Fully lined cropped aviator jacket with raglan sleeves and slanted welt pockets. Also features a buckled collar and zipper fastenings at the center front and lower sleeves.
Unnapped Pendleton blankets: 82% Wool, 18% Cotton. Wool Cashmere facings and a Checkered Dobby Rayon lining. Teddy shearling is a longer, denser fur-like lamb’s shearling.
